Position Summary
The School of Arts & Letters at Indiana University Southeast (IU Southeast), in collaboration with the School of Business, seeks applications for the position of Professor of Practice in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Planning to spearhead the development of a new Bachelor of Science program in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Planning. This is a twelve-month position with a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. This appointment has a flexible start date, with the program set to launch for the Fall 2025 academic term. Located in the Louisville Kentucky, metropolitan area, IU Southeast is one of eight degree-granting campuses of Indiana University. IU Southeast is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer. Evening teaching could be required. This position requires excellent organizational and leadership skills to help with recruiting efforts and to establish and maintain community/industry partnerships.
